Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This policy explains what information Countora collects when you use the site, and how it's used. In short: the calculators run in your browser, and we don't ask for or store any personal information.
What you enter into calculators
The numbers you type into a calculator are processed in your own browser. They aren't sent to us or stored on our servers.
Information stored in your browser
If you switch a calculator between US and metric units, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the next calculator opens in the same units. This setting stays on your device, isn't sent to us, and contains nothing that identifies you. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Cookies and analytics
Countora doesn't set cookies and doesn't use analytics or tracking scripts.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical information that every web request includes, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. See the Cloudflare privacy policy for how Cloudflare handles this information.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply and to fix any problem you report, and we don't sell it or add it to a mailing list.
Advertising and affiliate links
The site doesn't currently show ads. If we add advertising or analytics in the future, we'll update this policy first. Where the law requires it, we'll also ask for your consent before any cookies are set. Some links may go to other websites, such as retailers or the sources we cite, and those sites have their own privacy policies. See our affiliate disclosure.
Children
The site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top.
